Marrs Athletic Booster Club News
The first goal of the Marrs Athletic Booster Club (ABC) was to raise $$ to purchase a wrestling mat. Hopefully, you saw the mat during the Open House in August. If your child is interested in wrestling this year, ABC will be hosting a wrestling camp on Thursday, November 5th @ 6 pm. The wrestling season begins after the Christmas break.
ABC will be selling a cookbook this fall to raise funds. If you would like your recipes featured, ABC will have a drop box in the school office or you send them to Jennifer Miller.
The next sport ABC hopes to offer is Track and Field. Look for ABC's Spirit Team girls at Burgoo. These girls are currently serving as Mat Maids and Concession workers for the Wrestling team.

The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana offers before and after school care at Marrs. YMCA has published a brochure containing information about philosophy, hours, and costs. Call the YMCA directly at 423-9622 or email at childcare@ymca.evansville.net for more info.
Student Absence
Please call the school (985-2082) any time a child is absent. Please give:
- Name of child
- Name of child's teacher, &
- Reason for absence.
You might suggest how work could be sent home.

After School Pick Up
Principal DeWeese sent home a map with clearly stated rules governing after school pick up. Everyone is encouraged to cooperate to ensure that Marrs' dismissal is smooth and safe for all.
